Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. She comes from the fourth Roberts family to have resided in Atlanta. This began with her great grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was an agriculturalist. Her father was enthusiastic about theatre since a young time. While studying of Emory University in 1952 he was a part of productions at Emory University and in Atlanta. In 1953, he enlisted in the Air Force. While stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi acted in a show that he performed in with Betty Lou Bredemus. They got married in 1955. Their first son, Eric Anthony, was born in 1956. Walter attended Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after he left the Airforce in 1957. In 1960 the family moved to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1964, Walter along with Betty Lou began production on a local children's Saturday morning television show known as Bum Bum and His Buddies which they funded by themselves. They established an Actors and Writers Workshop in that same year. It was in operation for a period of six years. During this time they were blessed with two additional children Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in 1965 in 1965 and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
