Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28 1967 as the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. Her father's passion for theatre was inherited by her. in the theatre at a young age. In 1952, while an undergraduate at Emory University, he performed in a variety of productions in Atlanta. In 1953, when he joined the Air force, he appeared alongside Betty Lou Bredemus in Biloxi. The two married in 1955, and their first son Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter and his wife quit their Air Force service in the year 1957 and enrolled Walter in Tulane University. Walter worked for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. The family moved in 1960 and relocated into Decatur Georgia. In 1964 Walter along with Betty Lou began production on a local children's Saturday morning television program known as Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded on their own. The following year, they started the Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for a period of six years. During this time they had two more youngsters Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965 as well as Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
